PREfabricated building construction
FOR PROCESS RELIABILITY AND AGAINST THE SHORTAGE OF SKILLED WORKERS IN INDUSTRIAL PREFABRICATED CONSTRUCTION: PLUGGABLE ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION HELPS!
Lego for grown-ups: Many functional and residential buildings today are built in industrial prefabrication. Standardized elements or modules are prefabricated and only assembled on the building site - simply and quickly according to the modular principle. What is already established for wall, ceiling and roof elements does not stop at the electrical installation: At the Light + Building in Frankfurt, Wieland Electric shows how prefabricated and system buildings can be installed safely and sustainably with plug-in connections.
Reliable planning and on-schedule completion
Walls and ceilings are ready in no time, the building can be recognized as such within hours or at least days, and then cables are to be laid and wired by hand for miles and miles? Does not fit! And with the installation plug system from Wieland Electric it is not necessary either.
Because the required system distributors, cables and distribution blocks are delivered pre-assembled and only have to be plugged together on site. A configurator helps with planning and calculation in advance and creates e.g. parts lists. All components are precisely labelled, making logistics much easier. This ensures process reliability and on-time completion. About 70% of the installation time and up to 30% of the costs can be saved with the pluggable system.
Pluggable installation as an answer to the shortage of skilled workers
The pluggable system also provides the solution to a problem that has occupied the construction industry for some time: The shortage of skilled workers. With construction activity remaining high and technology becoming more and more sophisticated, there are fewer and fewer qualified assembly personnel.
This is where the Wieland system scores with its high degree of industrial prefabrication. Quality is delivered with the product and is less dependent on on-site installation. Faulty connections are excluded by mechanical and colour coding. This means that even semi-skilled personnel can install.
Pluggable is sustainable and conserves resources
Because the cables are delivered on site already pre-assembled in the correct lengths, there is no need for cutting and stripping. There is no waste on the construction site and superfluous material does not have to be disposed of. The pluggable installation can also be adapted and extended again and again over the lifetime of the building without having to think and do it all over again.
