ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION FOR RETAIL SALES AREAS AND STORE FIT-OUTS

Plug-in electrical solution for power supply and lighting electrification for shopfitting & retail spaces.

Plug-in shop installations for modern retail spaces

Retail spaces place high demands on the electrical infrastructure—from basic supply to individual loads. Energy, data, and lighting must be safely available, be flexibly adaptable, and be seamlessly integrated into different store concepts.

With plug-in installation systems, Wieland creates the foundation for an end-to-end, modular shop installation: clearly structured, easy to plan graphically, and standardized to implement—from single locations to international rollouts.

The problem

The number of electrical consumers in retail spaces is continuously increasing—from checkouts, shelves, and media tables to lighting, charging points, and temporary modules. Conventional electrical installations quickly reach their limits: long reconfiguration times, high costs, limited flexibility, and dependence on qualified electricians during ongoing operations.

The
opportunity

Today, retail spaces can be planned holistically from the basic electrical infrastructure to the end consumer. A plug-in, modular power distribution system provides maximum flexibility—already in the planning phase and likewise during subsequent operation. This creates uniform, scalable concepts with consistent execution quality across all branches—even for shop-in-shop modules or seasonal remodels.

The
solution

With plug-in system solutions from Wieland Electric, energy is brought into the retail space quickly, safely, and flexibly.
From infrastructure cabling via distribution box to lighting, electrical consumers can be modularly connected, expanded, or reconfigured — requiring none of the re-cabling and with short conversion times.
The result: future-proof retail spaces, manageable costs, and maximum planning reliability.

SHOP INSTALLATION AS A PLATFORM

A plug-in system architecture that connects applications from power and data to lighting and special applications—once planned, it can be easily scaled for national and international rollouts.

FROM THE BASE TO THE APPLICATION

1. Basic infrastructure

Energy & data as a plug-in basis for the retail space.
2. Distribution across the space

Structure modularly—expand and adapt flexibly.
3. Connecting the loads

Shelves, checkouts, media tables: quickly connect using pluggable connections.
4. Further development during operation

Remodel, expand, repurpose — none re-cabling.

ONE SYSTEM – MANY APPLICATIONS IN RETAIL

All applications are based on a unified, plug-in shop installation—modular, safe, and flexibly extensible.
