STRUCTURE OF THE SEMINAR
The seminar is structured into distinct modules. You have the flexibility to choose between online or face-to-face delivery for each module:
- Part 1: ~ 2.5 days of content focusing on Electrical Safety Engineering (10 modules)
- Part 2: ~ 1.5 days of content focusing on Hydraulics/Pneumatics (9 modules)
- Part 3: ~ 0.5 day workshop titled ‘Practical safety functions’ (2 modules)
- Part 4: ~ 0.5 day final examination (2 modules)

We recognize qualifications acquired from reputable sources, which may include certificates from other accredited course providers. If you've earned a similar certificate, you may be eligible for exemptions from specific course components, optimizing your learning experience and respecting your prior achievements. For instance, the Electrical Safety Engineering segment can also be fulfilled through our existing CESE certification or equivalent qualifications.

Elevate your credentials with the globally recognized SGS TÜV Saar certificate. This product-neutral certification serves as concrete evidence of your expertise in the realm of machinery functional safety, acknowledged on an international scale.
CERTIFICATE VALIDITY
Your CFSE certification holds a four-year validity. After this period, you'll have the opportunity to maintain your CFSE status for the subsequent four years by successfully completing the refreshment exam. It's the key to sustaining your expertise and staying at the forefront of functional safety practices.

His expertise ranges from conducting safety audits and risk assessments to managing the lifecycle of safety products, both as a TÜV Rheinland Certified Functional Safety Engineer and as a former Safety Product Manager. He has developed tailored safety solutions and advised various industries, always in compliance with international safety standards.
LEONARDO SANCHEZ
Leonardo Sanchez is an Electrical Engineer and certified Machine Functional Safety Expert (TUV Rheinland & SGS TUV Saar). He holds extensive expertise in machine safety, with a focus on the entire safety lifecycle, from risk assessments to validation. Leonardo is experienced in assisting companies with CE marking self-certification for machinery sold in Europe and possesses in-depth knowledge of global safety standards. He has a successful track record in managing machinery safety projects and is qualified to certify Machine Safety Engineers.
KEVAN COWLEY
Kevan Cowley, with over 15 years of experience, is a seasoned safety specialist and CESE Engineer for TUV SAAR. With expertise in designing and maintaining safety systems for various machines, Kevan has a comprehensive background in working with safety circuits, E-stops, gate entry systems, and light guards. As a qualified trainer, he has conducted numerous CESE TUV SAAR training courses, both in-person and online, contributing significantly to the safety market's understanding and development.
