- Part 3: ~ 0.5 day workshop titled ‘Practical safety functions’ (2 modules)

Prerequisites for Enrollment
It's important to note that these prerequisites are specific to the certification and not mandatory for attending the course:
- Relevant Experience: A minimum of two years of experience in the design, construction, or service of functional safety systems, which can be verified through a self-disclosure form provided prior to the seminar.
- Proficiency in English: The CFSE seminar is conducted exclusively in English. Therefore, participants should have a strong command of the English language, as the accompanying course material, exercises, and the exam will also be conducted in English.
Meeting these prerequisites ensures that you can actively engage and fully participate in the course.

WOLFGANG ONDERKA
A Technical Ace in Functional Safety: With over 15 years of experience in automation technology, Wolfgang Onderka has been providing expert advice to clients on all matters related to functional safety for machinery. His expertise as a consultant and trainer is not purely theoretical. Through global service assignments in control engineering, he has overseen numerous projects throughout the entire machine lifecycle, from planning to commissioning.

Leonardo Sanchez is an Electrical Engineer and certified Machine Functional Safety Expert (TUV Rheinland & SGS TUV Saar). He holds extensive expertise in machine safety, with a focus on the entire safety lifecycle, from risk assessments to validation. Leonardo is experienced in assisting companies with CE marking self-certification for machinery sold in Europe and possesses in-depth knowledge of global safety standards. He has a successful track record in managing machinery safety projects and is qualified to certify Machine Safety Engineers.
KEVAN COWLEY
Kevan Cowley, with over 15 years of experience, is a seasoned safety specialist and CESE Engineer for TUV SAAR. With expertise in designing and maintaining safety systems for various machines, Kevan has a comprehensive background in working with safety circuits, E-stops, gate entry systems, and light guards. As a qualified trainer, he has conducted numerous CESE TUV SAAR training courses, both in-person and online, contributing significantly to the safety market's understanding and development.
